TRAVELER GUITAR

A few months ago I purchased a Traveler Ultralight Guitar,  I needed a new electric/acoustic guitar that I could play late at night and store easlily in our apartment.

After I bought it however,  I kind of hated it.  While the idea of a small guitar for travel is fanastic, in practice I found it very difficult to hold/ balance, especially for someone who is not an expert guitarist.

So I started redesigning it and tried to figure out a system that could create a better experience but still pack down into a carry on.

After much experimentation I developed what I call the Traveler Guitar Base Camp System.
The idea centers around a back plate which mounts to the existing Traveler Guitar.

The back plate houses rails onto which you can slide and lock a guitar body.

The body that I designed is an open allowing it to be further broken down and stack-stored in less than a minute!

After a few days of testing the design is holding up nicely and the system is vertaile enough to allow for tons of future customization.
