I have been comic fan for years and superheroes have always held a special place in my design work.  As a student, I learned many sketching and rendering techniques from tutorials for comic artists.

 

When I started watching Arrow, I fell in love with the Green Arrow character and I set out to design a Green Arrow suit of my own design.  I felt that the costume designed for the show removed too many of the 'robin hood' aspects of the design.

 

I combined elements from many sources including Assassin's Creed, the Robin suit from Arkham City, and the classic Green Arrow design.

 

The suit was also developed with some tactical considerations in mind; featuring throwing knife compartments in the quiver and arm guards.
