Traveler Base Camp - Acoustic Body

With Andrea out of town this weekend I had time to design and build my phase II idea for the Traveler Base Camp system; The E-Acoustice Body. The Hollow Frame Body from phase 1 is perfect for traveling but I also wanted to build an electric-acoustic body for home. I felt that a full acoustic body would give you a more "traditional" playing experience for the Traveler guitar and allow for slap strumming type rhythms.

For this build I took a cheap guitar ($30), cut the neck off, cut some holes in it, and designed and printed a mounting bracket that fits in the hole. I also mounted a jack inside and soldered it to electric acoustic end pin; allowing you to plug the frame into an amp.
