The Tucket Giller is an innovative boat shoe that was a great project to work on.  The Giller features a foam upper that is both soft and waterproof.  The outsole provides excellent traction and wear resistance, even in wet environments.

 

The feature that really makes the Giller unique is the integrated drainage system. Vent holes in the sides of the vamp and through the insole allow a submerged Giller to drain completely in 5 seconds. I spend a considerable amount of time refining the placement of the drain vents so that they seamless iterated with the shape and visual character of the shoe.

 

Since it's launch in Spring 2015, the Giller has performed quite well.  It has been featured in Power and Motoryacht Magazine and was named one of the Top 5 Nautical Products at Surf Expo.
